I was born in 1960. I received B.Eng, M.Eng, and Dr.Eng all from Osaka University in 1983, 1985, and 1988 respectively. I was then with Osaka City University as Research Associate, Lecturer, and Associate Professor. I am currently a Professor at the Department of Informatics, Kwansei GakuinUniversity. I was a Visiting Lecturer of Data and Knowledge Engineering Centre, Keele University, England in 1991 and 1992. I am a member of IEEE, AAAI,ACM,IPSJ, JSAI and ISCIE.

I am a "System Innovation Award 2002" winner at 6th International Workshop on Cooperative Information Agents.
