• Mar. 2004: M. Sc. from Department of Intelligence Science and Technology, Graduate School of Informatics, Kyoto University.
• Mar. 2007: PhD in Informatics from the same univeristy.
• From Apr. 2005 to Mar. 2007: Research Fellow (DC2), Japan Society for the Promotion of Science.
• Since Mar. 2007: PostDoc researcher for the CrestMuse Project, Foundation of Technology Supporting the Creation of Digital Media Contents, Japan Science and Technology Agency (JST), belonging to Katayose Laboratory, School of Science and Technology, Kwansei Gakuin University.

• I'm engaged in music informatics as a PostDoc researcher for the CrestMuse Project.
• My PhD Thesis: "Computational Musical Instrument Recognition and Its Application to Content-based Music Information Retrieval" [PDF] (The 2nd Kyoto University President Award)
