Furthermore, students should be able to listen to a three-to-four minute listening passage and identify key parts of it.
各回ごとの授業内容 Course Contents of Each Session
This course meets once a week, but the teacher will integrate instruction with the Reading IA and Writing IA courses often. This course is designed to introduce students to the basics of having a discussion using only English. In addition, this course will introduce listening skills and pronunciation skills to students as a way for students to improve their comprehension of English speakers in various settings.
授業方法 Methods of Instruction
This will be a workshop-based class in which the teacher will give clear instructions and guidance while the students practice and interact with each other in a variety of communicative activities. Students will also be introduced to listening skills and strategies in class, be provided with practice opportunities for these skills outside of class, and then be tested on their successful acquisition.
